We call this our James Bond van: We hit one button on the keychain remote and the doors unlock, the back end of the van lowers several inches (power kneel), the rear hatch opens, and the ramp folds down. The whole thing takes less than 30 seconds. Together with the EZ Lock system, it makes it incredibly easy and convenient to roll the chair in and lock it in position. Another push of the button closes it all up again. Getting out is just as fast and easy.This was our first rear entry van. We will never own another side entry van. Rear entry means we can use ANY parking spot, we don‘t need a handicapped spot. It also makes things simpler in our driveway.If you aren‘t familiar with EZ Lock: There is a locking mechanism on the floor. A mating piece of hardware is installed on the chair (you will need to buy one to match your chair). When the chair rolls into position, it automatically locks into the EZ Lock. A pushbutton releases it. If you don‘t want to use the EZ Lock, the standard tie-downs are provided.This van has given us 103K miles of absolutely trouble free operation. This is our second Caravan and I just can‘t get over how reliable both of them have been -- much less trouble than our Honda! The only reason we are selling it is we are eligible for a new van -- we have already purchased another Grand Caravan with the same modifications.There is a little rust. The left rear bumper is dented in; it‘s just plastic and you could probably warm it up and push it back out.The rear tires are brand new, the front tires have about 50K miles on them.We are in Grand Island NY, a suburb of Buffalo, at the western end of NY state.
